So I meant to upload my weekly post last Friday, but I was completely swamped with work and social activities.
The beginning of the week was busy with some new items I had to work on for a recent project. Also planning a dolly tea party got a little stressfull. Making sure everyone knew the times, dates, and how much things cost since I had to pay a depost in order to hold a spot.
At the end of the week I had a delightful luncheon with my BFF Ion and sassy Ceci. :B What is life without friends? Defintely a dull one. Catching up, having laughs, and discovering that eventhough we live far away, have found other interests, just doing little things like this keeps us all together. :B Well that and Tartine Bakery. A convenient 3 blocks away. WOO! Had some pear bread pudding, morning buns, and a bowl of hot coffee. YUM!
Today, SUNDAY, we had our fancy tea party with the group of Blythe people I usually meet up with once a month or once every other month. The food and desserts at Crown and Crumpet have always been very Excellent!
We had some new members join us. Not necessarily Blythe people, but BJD lovers. Creating a bigger group will help us have a convetion here. That is my hope at least someday.
Back to the tea party...
We had some BJDs, blythes and other little dollies in the mix. I need to add more photos later when I get a chance since I don't own a regular camera right now.
URRR
Which reminds me, I need a new pocket cam. It is okay that my phone takes photos, but the richness of the photos I used to take were much better.
Though I am debating if I should just use the photos I take with my camera... and if I want fancier ones I'll just get an SLR. I know I've been saying this for years... but I WILL get an SLR again! The last one I had was a manual NIKON. This time around I'm probably going to get a digital SLR Nikon or Canon. *crosses fingers*
I will end this post with all the Sisig I've been having with Mr Sisig food trucks that come by during OFF THE GIRD in San Francisco. Great food on trucks. What more do you need on a Saturday in SF?
(Eggs on everything = Awesome) xoxo
